Q. Can we use the “Buy Now” option on Yahoo Japan Auctions like we have inthe U.S. ?
Yes, you can. If you agree to pay the exact price or higher set by seller. You can get the item immediately, provided someone else doesn't overbid you.

Q. When will I be notified that I've won an auction?
You should see the auction online. Please check out the Japanese Translation system section on our website from OCN and Babelfish and follow the bidding process.

Q. When will you send me the final bill?
We must get a total amount from the seller first, it may take a few days. As soon as we have the total, we'll send you a bill.

Q. When do I pay?
When you get the bill. You must make the payment within one week or else there will be a $1 per day late fee.

Q: How long will it take to get my items?
A: 2 weeks from the time we receive your payment. Some destinations may take longer.

Q: Can I cancel my bid?
A: NO. No exceptions.

Do you provide shopping services to your customers for items other than Yahoo Japan Auctions?
A: YES! ! ! Please read our Shopping Services section.

Q: Are your shipments insured?
A: Only shipments through EMS are insured. Ordinary shipments aren't insured. We are not responsible for damage or loss. Please read our Shipping section for shipping details

Q. Do you charge for any handling fees?
A: Nop, we do not charge any handling fee to individuals for small items like anime cels, single CDs, DVDs. However, if you are importer and you bid on wholesale lot items, then there is a handling fee. This requires repacking your items that need new boxes and alot work and there will be a handling fee for that. Please check out our handling fees page for more details

Q: I see something on Japan Yahoo Auctions that I can't understand, can you translate it for me?
A: If you are our regular customer, we would be happy to help you once in a while. This is not available to new users and members. Sorry guys, there were just too many requests from new people who just wanted the info and never showed back for business.

Q: One of your customers is already bidding on an auction, can I still bid?
A: No you can't, unless you're a Premium member. Mail Order Japan has a conflict of interest here. Everything is on a first-come first-serve basis. We do not encourage bidding wars of our members and we do not participate in any bidding wars. At the end of the day, it hurts our customers and our trust with them.
